The Protect-UV filtration and ultraviolet sterilisation system uses multiple stages to ensure your water is free from contaminants, bacteria and viruses.

• Filtration. You need the right filter for your environment. Different filters provide different results. Our expert water technicians will provide advice on what best suits your water catchment area to suit the needs of your household
  1. Single Filter system: Sediment filtration down to 5 microns using an effective Polyspun filter to remove all large organic particles.
  2. Twin Filter system: Including the above 5 micron Polyspun filter, a Gradient sediment filter from 20 microns down to 1 micron is used to ensure the water is clean enough for the Ultraviolet unit to work effectively. Our exclusive Stringwound (with Nano Zinc Core) gradient filter was originally designed for the Australian Navy and is available for Pristine Water customers.
  3. Triple Filter system: Adding on to the above two filters, a third Carbon filter is used for environments where chemicals and minerals might be present. Carbon filters clean up the taste of the water, whilst also removing heavy metals and chemicals such as Chlorine. Making this ideal for water systems that also have town (chlorinated) water added.
• Ultraviolet system: Our uniquely designed Ultraviolet sterilisation system will remove 99.999% of all bacteria and viruses, and with stainless steel chambers and fittings, is designed for the harsh Australian climates.

With the Protect-UV Whole of House filtration and sterilisation system, you will remove all bad tastes and odours, and remove heavy metals and chemicals such as chlorine, so you and your household can enjoy pure Pristine water.

Optional Half or Full Covers are available for outdoor use. Larger capacity lamps are available for properties with higher water usage.

Filter replacement is typically every 12-months, depending on environmental factors and water usage. Ultraviolet lamp has 9,000 hours effectiveness, and is recommended to be replaced every 12-months.
